HISTORY
From a Crane Operator...
Founded in 1992 by Mr. Tan Kwan Chin, Call Lade Enterprises began with humble origins. Mr. Tan, who started his career as a crane operator at PSA Singapore (formerly the Port of Singapore Authority), quickly earned respect for his industrious nature and visionary mindset. His combination of hard work and forward-thinking leadership laid the foundation for the company’s growth into a thriving enterprise.
The company’s name pays tribute to Mr. Tan’s late grandfather, Mr Tan Call Lade (陈科力先生), whose unwavering values of perseverance and integrity continue to inspire the business today. Call Lade’s first major success—securing a contract to supply lashing specialists—marked the beginning of a longstanding partnership with PSA Singapore. Over the years, this collaboration has expanded significantly, positioning Call Lade as one of the largest service providers and a key player in the operations of one of the world’s busiest transhipment hubs.

Our logo is a distinctive representation of Call Lade Enterprises’ identity, blending cultural heritage with modern aspirations. At its core is the Chinese name of Mr. Tan Kwan Chin’s late grandfather, Mr Tan Call Lade (陈科力先生), remain a guiding force in our journey. The characters in his name, “科” (pursuit of knowledge) and “力” (enduring strength) embody the enduring principles that fuel our growth and success.
Designed to resemble a traditional Chinese seal imprint, the logo pays homage to our roots while symbolising the stability and integrity on which our foundation is built. This unique design reflects our commitment to bridging tradition with innovation, leaving a lasting legacy in the logistics industry.
The logo’s colours further reinforce our identity—red symbolises resilience, passion, and growth, while white represents care, professionalism, and a forward-thinking mindset.
